Commander Format: 3 rounds Swiss with Top Cut.

Deck Registration & Rules

Deck Submission: Register your decks in advance by submitting a Moxfield link in the form here.

Last date to submit decklist: Nov 12th by 8:00pm PST.

Proxies: Proxies will be allowed for this event, but players are encouraged to support the local LGS by buying singles

Round Format and Scoring

Rounds: 3 rounds of Swiss, leading into a Top Cut.

Duration: Each round will last 80 minutes, with matches ending at 0 turns.

Scoring: Victories in each round will earn players 5 points, while draws will grant 1 point. The top cut will be selected based on total points, using win/loss records as tiebreakers for seeding.

Basic Entry | $25 per person.

Includes tournament entry.

Prizing will scale with participation.

8 players : 1st - $50 or Miku Digital Sensation Secret Lair

12 players: 1st - $100 or Monty Python Vol 1 Secret Lair

16 players: 1st - $100 or Monty Python Vol 1 Secret Lair, 2nd to 4th: $30 each

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my deck even though I have registered?

Players may modify or change their decklists up until the registration deadline. If you have registered a deck, but wish to change it, please get in touch with one of our organizers either through the discord channel, or by email at info@fastdontlie.com

Is there a ban list?

We will be adhering to the EDH Ban list as recommended by the Commander Rules Committee in addition to the budget deck building restrictions listed above. EDH Ban List

Are precons exempt from the $100 stipulation?

If a player chooses to use a stock precon from WOTC for the tournament, they may do so. Any custom or modified decks will still adhere to the budget rules of $100 total cost, no card above $3 in market price, however, stock precons published by WOTC will be exempt if used in their entirety.

What is the refund policy?

Players that are unable to attend and have already paid for a spot, will be able to request a refund up until a week before the event registration deadline. To initiate a refund please contact us via email at refunds@fastdontlie.com, please be sure to include event name and date in the subject line for faster processing.
